4th of July

I am sitting here enjoying a beautiful summer morning.  We have been inundated with rain here in the Chicagoland region the last few days and the weather has finally shifted.  A nice cool evening is in store tonight and I am looking forward to a nights rest with windows wide open.

As I look forward to the approaching 4th of July, I am so grateful to live in a country with religious freedoms. As Americans, we are blessed to be able to express our views openly in many forums, including blogging.

I would like to express my thanks to all our service men and women who protect our freedom and the sacrifices they and their families make on our behalf. They are each a gift to our nation. Thank You for your sacrifice.

I am moving my blog to a new site under my own name.  This will be the last post on this site.  I thank you all for following me to date, and I hope you will continue to enjoy my posts at my new site.  If you are currently an email subscriber, you will automatically be subscribed to my new blog.  If you follow me only on wordpress.com, you will need to add my new site to your blog roll to continue to see posts or you can always subscribe to my new site.

My new site address is:  http://julieademe.com

My new site is currently a work in progress, however all my old posts have been transferred at this time.  I will be spending the next few weeks tweaking the site and making it as user friendly as possible. I hope to begin blogging again in late August or early September.

Thank you all for your encouragement to continue writing and all your kind words.  I look forward to seeing how God moves in my future as I write for His glory.

Enjoy your summer.
